After slogging it out for 4 hours on Friday night I sat down to the footy with VB in hand at 8:26pm content all was in place for the schedulted 7:45am pore.
And, as per the schedule Simon (the concreter, his off siders, and my cheap lackie all turned up on time). All was looking good until Simon decided to get his car bogged across the road, this simply proved to be a good warm up for the boys.
Once the shananigans were over it was down to business, and not really too much to report apart from we filled a shed with concrete with little to no fuss. Although, I did burn the top of my mouth on a party pie provided by the finance minister at morning tea.
The boys hard at work ensuring that the shed floor is as flat as can be. We estimate we've got it within 2mm across the board and I must say I can not detect any variations or defects under foot at this point.
Of course putting a lot of effort into getting the floor flat is very important for one reason and one reason only.............................................................
Thats right, the order has been restored!! Come one, come all, I'll show you how to play the game!! A big thanks to Simon, Bern, Crosa, and Brent for their excellent work.
